Plastic Surgeon Dr. Carter
Dr. William L. Carter, M.D., has been practicing plastic surgery in the Tampa Bay area for 20 years. He is board certified in Plastic Surgery. He is a graduate of Amherst College and the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He did his plastic surgery training at the University of Cincinnati, with extended fellowships at Duke University, Roswell Park Memorial Institute, and the University of Miami. Dr. Carter is also board certified in general surgery. He has been a clinical professor at the University of South Florida in the Division of Plastic Surgery for 20 Years. He has served as Chief of Division of Plastic Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa. While spending most of his time in the care of his patients, Dr. Carter contributes time and resources to numerous charitable and community causes.
Most of Dr. Carter’s patients seek cosmetic improvements. These include facial rejuvenation procedures such as facelifts, browlifts and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasties). Breast augmentation, breast lifts, and breast reductions are common procedures performed by Dr. Carter. Body contouring procedures including liposuction and tummy tucks (abdominoplasties) are increasingly popular.
Dr. Carter has dedicated his practice to pursuing sugical excellence, meticulous care, and patient well being. He has made an ethical decision to avoid misleading self-promotion.
